Early times in town. The two white faced buildings known as the Johnson Block are the same 2 that appear in earlier images above (here and here). The white building further up Main is the Park Theatre where currently the Salvation Army's new wing resides. Center Congregational Church appears in the upper left. Main Street is void of businesses south of the Johnson Block to Bissell Street. This picture was taken from the west side of Main Street directly opposite the future site of the State Theatre.
