HOW DID YOUR SCHOOL GET ITS NAME?

Do you know the background of your school's name?

Towns often name schools after citizens who contribute to the good of the town, perhaps through the schools or town government. Other school names come from people of national significance, such as Presidents Washington, Lincoln, and Kennedy. Some schools are named by the area of the town where they're located.

Below, viewers can click on Manchester's school websites or on the school name information.
